Unmult Plugin
Need a matte generated from an image or video shot on a black background? Knoll Unmult will create an alpha channel from any image shot on black.

Red Giant software has a gigantic arsenal of plugins, but there are a few that actually are free to download that can help out some everyday tasks. First they have Knoll Unmult, which is a free little plugin that comes along with Knoll Light Factory to knock out the black on solids with lens flares on them.
I am using a MacPro 10.6.5 running After Effects CS5. I have made several attempts to install the free Knoll Unmult plugin and can not get it to show up anywhere under effects. I am fairly new to AE. I've been using it on my MAC laptop. Maya doll and stuff for poser daz3d robbie. I just bought a PC desktop and loaded AE CC2015. I tried to install the plugin 'Unmult' but apparently it does not work with CC2015.
